Zasady i warunki
Last updated: 3 October 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before buying from www.2play.com. They explain who we are, how we sell and deliver digital keys, and the rights you and we have. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. These Terms are available in English; we recommend that you save or print a copy for your records.
1. Who we are
www.2play.com (the "Website") is operated by 2play, a company incorporated under the laws of Ireland, with its registered office at Pembroke House, 28–32 Pembroke Street Upper, Dublin D02 EK84, Republic of Ireland ("2play", "we", "us", "our").
2. How to contact us
You can contact our support team by email at support@2play.com. If we need to contact you, we will use the email address linked to your account or order.
3. Who can buy
- You must be at least 18 years old to buy on the Website. If you are under 18, you may only buy with the permission of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the purchase.
- You buy as a consumer, for your own personal use or as a gift. The Website is not intended for reselling keys or other commercial use.
- You need a 2play customer account to place an order. You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Please keep access to your email account secure: anyone who can read your emails can sign in to your 2play account and see your keys. We cannot replace or refund keys taken by someone who accessed your email or account because your login details were not kept secure.
- The information you give us, including your billing details, must be true and accurate.
- We do not sell to customers located in certain countries, currently Belarus, Iran, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Syria and Ukraine, as well as any country or person subject to sanctions that apply to us.
4. What we sell
- We sell official digital activation keys ("Keys") for video games, downloadable content (DLC) and other digital products ("Content"). Our Keys come from the publishers of the Content or from distributors they have authorised.
- A Key unlocks the Content on a third-party platform, such as Steam ("Platform"). To use it you need an account on that Platform and must accept its terms. The Content is provided by its publisher and the Platform, not by 2play.
- Product information, such as descriptions, images, system requirements, supported languages and age ratings, comes from the publisher and the Platform. We work to keep it accurate, but the publisher may change the Content after release. Please check that your device meets the system requirements before you buy.
5. Regions and activation
- Many Keys can only be activated in certain countries or regions. Each product page shows whether the Key can be activated in your country, and the "Check regions" option lets you check other countries.
- We determine your country from your internet connection (IP address) when you browse and order. This country decides which products are available to you, their price and the VAT you pay. It cannot be changed on the Website.
- You must activate the Key in a country where it can be activated. Using a VPN, proxy or any other means to hide your location or to get around regional restrictions is not allowed. It may stop the Key from working and the Platform may restrict your account. We are not responsible for this.
6. Prices, VAT and currencies
- Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include the VAT that applies in your country. The final amount is shown at checkout before you pay.
- If we show prices in another currency, they are approximate and for information only. You are always charged in euros. Your bank may apply its own exchange rate and fees.
- A crossed-out price is the recommended retail price (RRP) published for the product on its Platform, shown so that you can compare.
- Prices can change at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
- If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after you receive an order confirmation.
7. Placing an order
- Products shown on the Website are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. Before you pay, you can review your cart and checkout details and correct any mistakes.
- When you place an order, we send you an email confirming that we have received it. This is not yet acceptance of your order. Keep this email: it serves as your receipt.
- Our contract with you is formed when we send you your Key, or for pre-orders, when we confirm the pre-order by email.
- To protect our customers and ourselves against fraud, we check orders before delivering them. We may hold an order, ask you for additional information, or cancel it with a full refund. This can happen, for example, when the country of your billing details does not match the country of your connection, when a VPN or proxy is detected, when an unusual number of orders is placed in a short time, or when a payment looks suspicious.
- We may also cancel an order with a full refund if the product is no longer available or the publisher withdraws it.
8. Payment
- You can pay with the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Your payment may be authorised when you place your order and taken when we send your Key.
9. Delivery
- Keys are delivered by email to the address linked to your order, normally within 1 hour of your order.
- Orders held for a security check (section 7) can take longer. We will tell you by email if we need anything from you.
- If you have not received your Key within 24 hours, please check your spam folder and then contact us.
- Once a Key has been delivered, you are responsible for keeping it safe. Please do not share it with anyone you do not intend to give it to.
10. Supply delays and events outside our control
- Our Keys come from publishers and distributors. Occasionally a Key may be delayed because of a supplier, for example a temporary shortage or a technical problem with a supplier's systems. If this happens we will tell you by email.
- You can then choose to wait for your Key or to cancel your order for a full refund. If we cannot obtain a valid Key within a reasonable time, we will cancel the order and refund you in full.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages of a Platform, our payment provider or our hosting provider. If such an event affects your order, we will tell you and you can cancel for a full refund if the Key has not been sent.
11. Pre-orders
- Products marked as pre-orders are not released yet. Their Keys are delivered on or shortly before the release date set by the publisher.
- The publisher may change the release date or the content of a product before release. If the release is postponed, your pre-order stays valid unless you cancel it.
- You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before the Key is sent to you.
12. Cancellations, refunds and your right of withdrawal
You can cancel before your Key is sent, ask for a refund within 30 days for a Key that has not been activated, and get a replacement or refund for a Key that does not work. These rights, and your statutory right of withdrawal, are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.
When you place an order, you ask us to send your Key immediately and you acknowledge that your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal ends when the Key is sent to you.
13. Using your Keys
- Keys are for your personal use, or to give as a gift. You may not resell them, offer them for sale on marketplaces or use them for any commercial purpose.
- Each Key can be activated only once.
- Your use of the Content is governed by the terms of the Platform and the publisher's licence. If a Platform or publisher changes or stops providing the Content, its online services or servers, that is their responsibility, not ours.
14. Your account
You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account, or refuse orders, if we reasonably believe it has been used for fraud, abusive chargebacks, reselling, getting around regional restrictions, or any other serious breach of these Terms. If we do so, we will tell you why where the law allows, and you keep your statutory rights for orders already delivered.
15. Using the Website
- The Website's content, design and the 2play name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Game names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
- You may not misuse the Website, for example by attempting to access it in unauthorised ways, interfering with its operation, or collecting its content automatically (scraping) without our permission.
- The Website may link to other websites, such as Steam. We are not responsible for their content.
16. Discount codes and promotions
Discount codes and promotions are subject to the conditions shown with them. Unless stated otherwise, they cannot be exchanged for cash, combined with other offers or used after their end date. We may cancel a discount obtained through an error or abuse.
17. Our responsibility to you
- We are responsible for supplying Keys that work as described. If we do not, your remedies are set out in our Return & Refund Policy and under consumer law.
- We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage that you suffer as a result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by the Platform, the publisher, your device, your internet connection or events outside our reasonable control.
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.
18. Your personal data
We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in our services. The Terms that apply to your order are those published on the Website when you placed it.
20. Complaints, applicable law and disputes
- If you are not happy with an order or with our service, please contact us at support@2play.com first. We will do our best to solve the problem.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you live elsewhere in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
- You may bring a claim before the courts of Ireland or of the country where you live.
- For advice on your consumer rights you can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in Ireland (ccpc.ie), or, for a dispute with a seller in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country.
21. Other important terms
- If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce one of our rights immediately, we can still enforce it later.
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. This will not affect your rights. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
